Reece James was left smitten after his sister, Lauren James, dropped a player-of-the-match performance at the ongoing Women's World Cup.
James scored the only goal of the game as England beat Denmark in their second game of Group D at the Sydney Football Stadium in Australia.
The Chelsea Women's midfielder needed only six minutes of her first-ever start in a World Cup game to get on the scoresheet. She curled in a beautiful ball that Lene Christensen, in the Danish goal, could do nothing about.
She had a couple of other chances to increase her team's tally but failed to capitalize. The rest of the encounter was a cagey affair, with Sarina Wiegman's side picking maximum points again.
Reece James took to Twitter immediately after, sharing an old photo of his sister with him and accompanied it with the caption, 'proud.'
Lauren moved from Manchester United women last summer to Chelsea, where she has since been handed the number 10 jersey by Emma Hayes.
While Reece is a right-back, probably the best in the world at the moment, Lauren is an offensive player, often playing as a winger.
The Lionesses will play China in their last group game, knowing that a point will be enough to ensure they qualify as group winners.
Reece is currently in the United States of America with the Chelsea squad, who are getting ready for the new season under Mauricio Pochettino.
